Description
Noon. The sun is blazing. On the sandy street in front of the saloon, two men stand facing each other, sizing each other up. Then, as if on cue, they both draw their revolvers. You probably wouldn't be entirely comfortable in this scenario. But in the park or the gym, the Pistol Grip table tennis racket will not only elicit surprised glances but also provide some exciting moments on the court.
The Sanwei Pistol Grip 9A2 blade is the first of its kind that can be used with standard rubbers. It feels surprisingly good and natural in the hand and, despite its unusual shape, plays very intuitively. The 9A2 has a classic five-ply veneer construction and can be described as a controlled offensive blade with excellent ball feedback and spin generation.
The Gewo Neoflexx eFT 48 is mounted on the forehand side . This rubber is "made in Germany" and is characterized by a good balance of speed, spin, and control. Despite its relatively hard sponge, it provides good feel and is very well suited for a varied offensive game with a focus on high-spin topspin shots .
On the backhand side, we opted for the 729 FX rubber from the Chinese brand Friendship . It offers excellent control and generates a tremendous amount of spin thanks to its tacky topsheet . This makes it ideal for dangerous serves, pushes with heavy backspin, and soft opening topspins with plenty of spin. It's also very direct on flat shots, allowing for controlled and precise blocking and counter-attacking. You're sure to capture the attention of the crowd, and your opponent will certainly give you a puzzled look.
But the Pistol Grip table tennis racket can do much more. It supports your spin-oriented offensive game with great feel and precision. This allows you to maintain control at all times, put your opponent under pressure, and ultimately knock them out – all without a weapons permit!
